How set design effects a long form direct response campaign
Set design comes in all sizes and shapes — and every one of them has an impact on your message. Is your product message best suited for a casual chat in someone’s living room? Then that’s what the set should be. Is your product “newsworthy?” Then a newsroom set might best deliver the message. Do you want a “QVC-look” to get your point across? Design a “stand-up” set with high energy. There are a multitude of decisions and choices that need to be made before the director yells “Action!” The visual impact of the “environment” you create takes careful consideration. Don’t be a spend-thrift on the “loudest” sensory stimulation when someone first SEES your show!
